Data we collect

Through inquiry and newsletter forms we may collect your name, email address, engagement interest, fiscal year-end, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not seek sensitive categories of data through the public site.

• Sending ledger briefings if you subscribe
• Maintaining site security and diagnosing technical errors
• Meeting legal obligations applicable to professional practices in Japan

Legal bases

We process inquiry data to take steps at your request before a contract and for our legitimate interest in operating a financial auditing practice. Newsletter subscription is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Retention

Inquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months after the last exchange unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or legal claim. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.

Processors and sharing

We may use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Engagement working papers are handled under separate confidentiality terms once an engagement letter is signed.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside Japan, we require contractual safeguards appropriate to the destination, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections recognized under Japanese guidance on cross-border transfers.

Your rights

Subject to applicable Japanese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing.
